The Optimiser injector and vaccinator from ISL Animal Health, in sizes from 1ml to 15ml.
Description
A twist-to-set injector for pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. It handles all vaccines and harsher injectables like vitamin B12, ADE and long acting mectins. The slim barrel gives a better feel at low doses, the needle nib is stainless steel, and the draw off suits both 4.6mm and 6.4mm hoses.
The needle release grip makes fitting and removing Luer needles safer, and you don't need to take the needle cap off to fit one. A spare O-ring is included, and it comes apart for cleaning and re-lubrication.
Dose range depends on the size. The 1ml goes from 0.1ml to 1ml in 0.1ml steps, the 2ml from 0.2ml to 2ml in 0.2ml steps, and the 5ml from 0.5ml to 5ml in 0.5ml steps. The 12.5ml and 15ml are also available.
