A Philips infrared heat bulb for keeping young chicks warm through their first few weeks.
Description
This is the white light heat bulb, used while chicks are still very young. At around 3-4 weeks (as a guide only) they need less heat, and that's when you swap to an infrared light bulb, which gives off less warmth.
Red infrared lamps are the ones that don't interrupt chicks' sleeping, so keep that in mind when you plan the changeover.
